I'm at Abu Dhabi airport, where the wifi is free and it's 3 hrs till the connecting Alitalia flight to Rome leaves. Abu Dhabi is stinking hot!
I walked on the tarmac briefly, and it was about 38 degs (at 1030pm)

And yes, the aircraft layout does resemble a slave ship, but this slave paid $600 extra for exit-row seats there and back.

Actually I board in 15 mins. I also found a charger to up the phone's charge from 40 to 55%.
