Alarming anti-cyclist comments about incredible near miss

Interesting article here about the alarming comments blaming two perfectly innocent cyclists after one of them posted footage of a near miss online.

An out of control Suzuki Swift skidded after rounding a corner and was inches away from injuring or killing one of the two cyclists. before it flipped off the road.

Yes, I saw that no Facebook yesterday, and couldn't believe how so many of the comments were about the cyclist and how he had somehow done something wrong.

One poster asked why he wasn't using a cycle path, and when it was pointed out that there wasn't one, said "well go and find one then, it isn't difficult"!

I have given up reading comments and posts across social media and the news because you know that the majority will blame the cyclist for even breathing .

Social media? There is still some, such as masto.bike and cyclechat most of the time, but the big commercial haters-watch-more-adverts sites would be better called anti-social media these days.
