I've been enjoying this over on YACF, so thought CCers might like to play too.

Instructions as follows:

1 - Go to Wikipedia and hit random article. The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.
2 - Go to The Quotations Page - Your Source for Famous Quotes and hit random. The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.
3 - Go to Flickr.com and click on "explore the last seven days". Third picture no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
4 - Use Photoshop or similar to put it all together. (if you have it. Or MS Paint. If not, just post the words and pic link here for us to see)

Additionally, if you feel you can, describe the muscial genre....

My latest was this:

Wistful ballads, sung by a waif like young Japanese songtress.

If you do put them together, half the fun is choosing the right fonts....

This is my attempt. They actually fell nicely

Looking at the ones here, and on YACF, and assuming no cheating, it's amazing how often the pictures and words seem appropriate. Or perhaps we have an inherent desire to make them fit.

This feels like cheating a little as my band actually is a band, but here's my next one: -

I've got images of guitars and trumpets, but the guitars are electric and there's a keyboard and drumkit in there too.

(Apparently the 'real' The New Mexicans were an Anmerican Indie Band from Seattle)

This can get addictive....

baseballalbum.jpg

Dreamy acoustic lovesongs with a bittersweet edge, by a band comprised entirely of middle aged divorcees trying to keep up the alimony payments.

New album from 'What Next?' called 'The Best Mirror is an Old Friend' - pedestrian rock chick stuff, nice lookin' gals though...

Pure coincidence it's got a guitar on it, Arch's rules followed to the letter...

Julio Baptista's new album: Moral Courage So Rare is a tribute to the Chilean Miners who got stuck last year.

(even he admits though that the picture of Bangkok was n odd choice for a cover)
