ALC Delamere Forest

The Camping & Caravanning Clubs Association of Lightweight Campers section are having a meet up at Delamere Forest campsite on October 26-27 this year.
Anyone here a member and going?
To date, my attempts at touring on the bike have gone nipples up so I'm determined to have a go at attending this meet.
I haven't a course plotted yet and wondered if anyone else going maybe wants to meet up somewhere between Bolton and there.
Any takers?

Won't be joining you, but the mention of Delamere brings back loads of chilhood memories. It was an autumn expidition in my dad's Morris 10 over the Widnes - Runcorn transporter and then all the family hunting for sweet chestnuts in the forest. Then roasting them at home on a shovel.
And later when I was a bit older, it was a favourite training loop through the forest.

Live too far away now.
