I mostly use the Trangia 1 litre bottle and I keep it in a Bikebuddy cage underneath the downtube.

This Fuel Name FAQ is a handy resource for knowing what x fuel is called in other countries. With respect to carrying meths, I just just use the PET bottle it is sold in. Does the trick, is light and I find they don't leak and I carry it in my panniers or pack if walking.

Oh I am updating my fuel stove to a Trail Designs Sidewinder Ti-Tri.

The meths rots the ali and you end up with a pinprick leak. Don't embarrass me by asking how I know this.
