Indeed a very great cricketer (apparently - well before my time, you see, unlike you two old gits! )

I suppose the Waughs twins were the best cricketing brothers, IMO!

The Waugh's had another brother, whose name escapes me, who didn't achieve as much success as the other two. His nickname was Afghan - the forgotten War!

Doesn't quite work now in the light of current events!

Mark was known as Afghan. I met him (his 'step-son' played at Brentwood CC for a year), when he was playing for Essex in the 90s. I had his Australia one-day shirt.

One of the other Waugh brothers (there were four in total) Dean also played for NSW. Danny played First Grade in Sydney.

Mark Waugh was the best (classiest) batsman I have seen play live.

Sorry, new nothing about him, never heard of him.
But...
It did remind me of the following from Spike Milligan:
