Spent the day setting up my new commuter bike:

Had to spread the rack stays out and put a few washers in, but just clears the brake assembly along with the mudguard stays. Moved the grips in to accommodate the bar ends. Barely enough space on the bars for all my stuff, but managed it.

First commute on Monday morning, so I guess it's the last time it'll look like this.

like the light set up ,just a thought will using the rack obscure the bottom rear light ?
I only use the rack to mount panniers on the sides, so it's fine. If I do use the top of the rack, I can move the lower light to one of the panniers or hook it onto whatever I am carrying (if there's something to attach it to.

I'd mount a pair (them) to the rear of the rack stays.
They'd interfere with my panniers. Also, I prefer them higher up at driver level.

I've been looking for a way to mount one to the back of the rack, so may do that in future.

Nice set up. What's the clearance lie between your toe clips/front mudguard. I've just fitted my new pedals/clips and they do touch when turning.....could be interesting if/when I forget.

I was thinking of that, really depends on the mounts you have... but what about on the insides of the rack stays, surely the pannier doesn't go on the inside?

I've seen that kind of bottle around, you can just get the storage bottles for a few quid, although they don't have specific space for a tool to clip in here, and there, they have a bit more space overall for other stuff (inc tubes, inflators, etc)
