As a non blog person ... how do you remember to go and check the blog? Is there some way that you can be informed when new stuff appears ... in the same way you get notifications from FB and twitter. Sorry I'm not very up on blogs.

There might be a delay to any posted comments appearing - I have them quarantined until I approve their publication.

And/or Bloomington, Illinois, home of light Colonel Henry Blake. But I think the closest the Northern Tier will take you is Wenona, Illinois. A little south of there, at a town called Toluca, and also at Kewanee, you can witness some high iron railroad action. Burlington-Northern Santa-Fe.
