Because there is soft foam in the nose it still has some shape but it just presses flat if you touch it. It's not very neatly done but it was just a test.

I just tilt my saddles down very slightly (for the same reason) and achieve the same results.

After a LOT of searching around and trying out various different saddles, I found that these two are perfect for me:

For my mountain bike, the Selle SMP Strike:

And for my road bike, the Specialized Toupe Gel in a 145mm measurement (will suit most people, except the particularly thin or wide):

Both give a comfortable position on one's "sit bones" and relieve pressure on one's cock.

I've tried that too and it's not the same. Obviously if it works for you then great, I'm sure we'll all be different.

Another vote here for the SMP4Bike range. These guys have done a lot of work on the ergonomics of bicycle saddles - it makes for interesting reading

Nope, that's not it either. It still had a nose, it was just stepped down from the rest of the saddle. You need the nose to hold between your legs when standing.

Its really bugging me coz I could swear I have seen a picture of that on here somewhere, I did a search the other day but I couldnt find it.

Charge Knife, Rolls, Regal - can recommend them all. The Ti Flite is very hard...

Mr Pig - problem with that one is there is far to much padding on it, and very little sit bone support, as they will 'sink in' and put pressure on your bits.

These are very comfy...

That's the one I saw. It was the first saddle of that type I'd seen.

The saddle that came on my bike was no too dissimilar to those Charge ones. I'm sure it wouldn't be identical but over all quite similar in shape. The problem is that you can't keep buying saddles until you find one that fits you perfectly, unless you have a lot of money to throw away. I just thought I'd try and make the one I already have fit better.

Even if my solution doesn't suit I'd encourage anyone who suffers from nut ache to investigate these type of saddle, there is something in it.

Unless you're, ahem, big boned.

Then you need the wide one.

That's it really. Best saddle ever made.
