Well that's the end of an era .
After talking about this with a friend who also has a plot there we decided we didn't want to be near anyone who is so violent . So this morning we collected his and my chickens ( about 40 in total ) and I am taking them to a farm today so they can live their lives out there
Life is too short to have peanuts in it so not having to go and feed the girls will remove that problem .

I can't say that I blame you. Life is too short to have such toxic people about, especially if they are going to act threateningly the whole time. Who needs the stress. I would definitely write to the committee (unless thug brains is the committee) explaining why you are leaving the allotment. Ask your friend to as well. 2 letters detailing this abusive person might well save someone else some undue stress, or even damage.

I makes friends with my weeds. It's the only way to stay sane:laugh:

Don't forget to take a bag of frozen sausages and a hammer with you for when he isn't around.
Hammer the sausages into the ground amongst his veggies and the local fox will do the rest.

Yes he is the newest committee member and they tried to get him off it at the weekend but they cant . There needs to be a vote from all plot holders . There wasn't a vote from us to get him on but there you go .
There has been lots of rubbish and gossip going on about it all and it must have come from him as I and my witnesses haven't said a word about it . I guess its a big deal to him whereas I just see it as a bit of a rubbish fight .
Like you say , toxic people need to be got rid of and the easiest way for me to do that was to walk away . I have 7 girls at home now and it gives me more time for other things like TT's and boating .

Thought gardening was gentlemanly and calming. That sounds absolutely horrific. Really sorry to hear what happened.

There are folk out there who would have rubbed him out and buried him on his own plot. Not a good place to try and start a fight.

You are the bigger man in all of this and I admire your self restraint and laid back attitude - if only more people were like you.
It may appear to this piece of scum man that he has 'won'. He hasn't. You have the upper hand and I'm glad your ladies (hens) got a nice home
