Almost doored last night

...in the car that is. An older lady swung her door open and got out without looking. I even surprised myself with how quickly I reacted. I don't necessarily drive the car totally out of the door zone because there's rarely enough space to do so.

So far I have only been caught out once but part of it was me making a point, woman in an Audi Cabriolet, she parked in a crap place, causing an obstruction, got out on her phone without looking so I made a bit of a point of screeching to a stop in her door area, I couldnt have gone around due to traffic coming the other way but it was a bit theatrical, she shat herself, sunglasses on nattering away and turned round to see a big ugly cyclist inches away, front wheel nuding her door card, I simply went "Dumb Bitch", and cycled off, she was shouting back but I dont see in which dimension I was in the wrong ?

I used to work with a woman who managed to door herself. She borrowed her hubby's pride and joy BMW and went shopping. She put the shopping in the back of the car, got in and reversed out of the parking space..........forgetting she had left the back door open!!!! Lots of damage done.
