Alpe d'Huez - not the way we might expect!

Whenever I see a video or a clip entitled Alpe d'Huez I imagine a long, sweaty toll upwards on the hairpins as it ascends to the welcoming summit. This one isn't like that at all but it does feature bikes and they're all tackling the Alpe. I'm no off-road cyclist (as a couple of our contributors would testify) and was recently on Aonoch Mor in Lochaber which happens to be home to a World Cup-standard downhill off-road course which fascinated me. So that recent experience intrigued me enough to seek this out. Stay with it, it's an entertaining ride that's for sure.

I'd like to ride down that, but not at that kind of speed, I thought his use of cutting corners was interesting

Edit:- Okay after seeing @Jody's video, can I clarify, I'd like to try that if there was no snow or ice
