Wondered if anyone had ridden Col du Galibier in early June.
I'm going on the 10th and am insure what I'll need to wear. I'm expecting there to still be a bit of snow up there but will I need my gloves? Armwarmers? Kneewarmers? Gilet? Winter jacket?

What will the weather be like then? You don't know? Neither do we. It's the mountains, you need to be prepared for a variety of conditions.

Lots of thin layers with windproofs in there. Fleecing won't be that effective unless you have a windproof layer next to it (it doesn't matter which side). You'll also want nice water resistant top layer. Take care of your hands, especially in the early morning they can quickly get very cold & numb... that makes changing gear hard & more importantly, you lose control over your braking.
