Took the country route today, lovely if a little windy run in, had to go down a couple of tracks, but its a much quieter route.

So, in the entire journey I put my foot down twice, once due to a rock in the path and once to lift over a style, imagine my surprise on arriving at work to find my left shoe caked in Dog Sh1t ! what are the odds of that ?

So, ok, its only dog poo, but it did make me think about the odds when cycling, leave nothing to chance, as chance will fill your cleats with poo given half a chance.

Gah, frustrations! Hope you got it cleaned off easily.

When a youngster, I used to walk everywhere in bare feet. The only thing worse than a cold turd squelching up between your toes was a warm one doing the same.

Brings to mind a question on Have I Got News last week. Referring to Aussie outback town Mount Isa's call for women to redress their 5 to 1 man/woman ratio, one local female resident apparently said: 'Yes, we have a saying about that: the odds are good, but the goods are odd.'
