Lol! Am not sure about that, but I'm done wallowing.
My daughter - she lifted the bike off me and went to play in a puddle while I sat wailing and swearing in a bush.:blush: She's most upset that we're not riding to school - and did say that she was "sorry you've torn your intestines Mummy"..:laugh: (she is only 6..)

The whole thing affects my lad more, because he's 14 and can remember before things got complicated. But he's fantastic and didn't crash the hospital wheelchair too many times on the way to xray last night...:ohmy:.
I'm a lucky woman - I have so many great people around me, and some pretty great people on here too.

For the past 6 years I have been fighting with a genetic degenerative neurological condition, which according to my consultant should have put me in a wheelchair about 4 years ago. That's why I cycle and do yoga so much - it held it at bay and allowed me to get fit and have fun.
I've been struggling with my right ankle most of the summer, and now this has happened, it's really hit me quite badly.

Sympathy?

Don't think you need much of that you have my admiration, and my hopes that you'll be up and at'em before too long.

Ankles can be nasty but remember its only the injured one you need to keep elevated

Hi BK

Sorry to hear about you ankle and the general health - especially since I read your post about how much fun you were having.

Like others have said- I hope your ankle heals well and quickly...remember that you exceeded the expectations of your Consultant in that you're not wheelchair bound - to me that says you're mentally tough and don't give up. You'll spring back from this, maybe not straight off but you will. Chin up and hope things pick up!

Wishing your intestines a swift recovery Badkitty  Given your determined nature I'm sure they won't dare keep you laid up for long.

In the meantime take some consolation form the fact that you really do look like your avatar at the moment
