If you don't know, I can't tell you!

Last week in the absence of person C in my office, person A asked me to instigate production of roller assemblies for 2 different customer machines (machine 1234 and 5678).

I completed the tasks 100%

Today person A walked into the office and asked person C if there was production raised for the roller assemblies I dealt with last week, referring to the customer name ABC rather than either of the machine numbers originally stated.

I asked person A, "Do you mean the ones you asked me to raise for machine 1234 and 5678?"

Person A ignored me and carried on talking to person C (who knew nothing about the transactions, or their current status)

I took this as being ignorant, and left person A and person C to look into it, left the office to do another task, and smugly realised they were still looking into 20 minutes later when I returned to the office.

I left work 10 minutes later and they were still looking into it.....

You can't help some people.

Do you live in Algebra? I didn't study it because I never thought I'd go there, but I reckon I'm regretting it now.

When are you going to tell us that you sent roller assemblies 123 and 456 to company XYZ on Friday afternoon and the invoice to ABC, just to wind A up and get C sacked.

Yes, yes you are. Stop it.
(I haven't read your reasonings btw.. I just figure that you are male, and therefore unreasonable by default.
Now if he was being reasonable he'd accept this judgement for the sake of a quiet life.

Every so often my neighbour pops round and says "I don't appreciate that you have...." (Whatever I have done that time). I think next time I'll ask him what he will do in appreciation of the things I haven't done. Anyway, he's an idiot but only in my opinion, and that's what counts. Son what's this thread about anyway?

Person A has struck again.

Person A asked Person D to pack a PC up to ship to a customer. At no point did Person A tell ANYONE the customer name, address or contact. I spotted said package sitting on the desk in my office.

"What is that doing there?"
Person D, "Person A asked me to pack it"
"where is it going?"
"I don't know, Person A didn't tell me"
"Well I suggest Person A DOES tell someone where it's going as our couriers will be here in 30 minutes"

Person D them emails person A asking for required shipping details to be sent to me. Person A emails Person D the details (not me as requested) and then I spot the customer's city name is wrong (longstanding customer on our systems) - Person A wrote Longmong - it should have read Longmount.

It gets betters - FedEx are our preferred partner for USA shipments.

I ship the package FedEx

Next day Person E spots the delivery note to customer in Longmount, "Please tell me this hasn't shipped? It is supposed to go UPS on the customer account - special handling due to temporary import."

Me, "It has shipped"

What follows then is a fair chunk of my time wasted calling FedEx (a number of times, and being put on hold etc) to try and halt the shipment before it leaves the UK.

Person A oblivious to the mess they caused.:banghead:
