Am I imagining or did we have a specific gardening thread?

Edit **
In the thread I refer to someone posted photos of an arch with a fast growing white rose plant covering it.
Problem.......
I have just replaced a 6' x 6' trellis along with the poorly Clematis.
I want a fast growing plant to cover this trellis (maybe 2 plants??).
I want.........
Fast growing (very fast ^_^)
Lots of colour.
Something with a loooong season
** non invasive
Maybe someone to plant it ???

Yes there was....

Google Russian Vine. Ugly, but will do the job quickly.
Repeat flowering climbing roses from David Austin.

When you say "there was".....was it a short lived thread or simply seasonal ?
BTW I just edited my thread to include "non invasive".

Clematis montana would suit what you are describing. These are pretty rugged and loads of flowers

I thought of this too. It’s bomb proof. Loads of flowers in the spring and then sometimes a small flush later.

That is what we had.....it never did much. But TBF I never helped it much. Just stuck it in the ground and expected it to flourish.
I will prepare the ground this time.
