Funny really the ol festive period. Just had an email from a friend who uses an advent calendar as a count down of how many decent days left until the nightmare of the 25th arrives. Can anyone actually say it is a fantastic period of the year? Not including a few days off work.

Displaying your Christmas tree and/or decorations in November is a handy reminder to your neighbours that you're lower class.

I noticed that one house at the bottom of the road has the full works ... reindeer, santa etc in the garden over the weekend and on Friday a house near school. I wouldn't want every house to look like that ... but it does give you something to look at on the way to school:laugh:
