last april got a letter off the bank saying i may have been mis-sold ppi.
without going into the details, they certainly did in quite spectacular style (covering the part-time income, not the full-time one
).
anyway, claim form sent in and acknowledgement received, with promise of 8 week resolution.
8 weeks pass, email sent threatening them with the ombudsman (responded to with apology and promise of passing email to correct department).
next day (today), offer sent in post 'dated' 31 july.
i've put acceptance of offer in post (it's a fair and reasonable offer); bet they're not as quick transferring the money into my account though…
