Amazons Courier APLE, any complaints?

I ordered a bike lock from Amazon U.K was supposed to arrived today, but it hasn't.
Story is, I ordered without them telling me who the courier was and with good faith, I ordered thinking it'll get here (being Amazon) So, I get an email today showing it's out for delivery by a company called APLE. I go to look for their website to track my parcel, then I see a link below on google, showing a link which is full off Reviews and complaints.

14 pages of mostly rants about how they're a corrupt courier. Okay, so I have until 8pm for them to deliver, but after reading their reviews, I'm scared to leave the house (have things to do) and I really have slim to nil expectations of this parcel arriving.

Anyway, question is, has anyone else had problems with APLE (Amazon U.K's courier)

Would be good to know who and who didn't get their parcels. I'm very pee'd off right now about their service.

Package arrived very late, but I'm happy I received it. But, the guy tried posting it through my letter box, then knocked after he couldn't get it through it (even though it was tracked) Just hope nobody else has the bad luck with them that others have had.

Let's just say I'm not ordering through Amazon again. APLE seem to be a crap courier. I feel sorry for the people who had bad experiences with them, and who may still do.
