Ambulance

I was on my way home today when I heard ambulance behind. I looked behind, slowed down and started pulling over to the side to let the ambulance pass safely. To my shock, the BMW driver behind me took this as a sign to overtake! So she started creeping up on my right and then noticed the ambulance. Vroom; she shot in front of me and slammed on the brakes.
Anyhoo, in the end it was better that the lunatic was in front of me, not behind me.

Bad to hear it. All the BMW drivers I've had today have overtaken me with lots of sidespace. The odd one didn't leave the cars coming the other way as much room as they should of done, but in general they were on top form. One even overtook on the otherside of the road (and this bit of road is wide enough for 2 cars). most people would move out a bit and be save so this BMW driver did a really nice job

Had that happen a few times to me, I always wonder what kind of idiot is driving to ignore not only the flashing lights, but the cyclist in front of them frantically signalling for them to pull over.

I've had people try overtaking me when driving and an ambulance was coming. People just don't pay attention and think about why people are doing something.
