He's starting to look like the real deal.

And he's whipped a certain Philipino boxing GOD in sparring recently too. TBH I think he looked the real deal about 2-3 years back, then he signed with Sky and nothing much came of it.

Isn't he that dickhead who got prosecuted for speeding and injuring a pedestrian? Now what's he done?

Great performance from him last night, really showed he can take a powerful hit or two, which many have said he wasn't capable of. All the big stars at Golden Boy are tipping him to be a massive star, lets hope so.

his mistakes include twice hitting people on zebra crossings (once after accellerating through a light as it turned red) and doing 140mph on the motorway.

Are we speaking about his boxing or his driving? He's a world champion boxer, but not a world champion driver....

I've sped on a motorway, thats not a big issue depending on the circumstances, it was probably very quiet (well it has to have been in order to get to that speed) and he was not charged with dangerous driving, just careless, which he will regret. He's a young male driver, with access to very fast cars due to his boxing success, many would make the same mistake.

Now then, lets talk about his sporting successes

I don't mind him not being a world champion driver. I just mind him running over folk on zebra crossings.

I haven't seen the fight.

When he first turned pro I hoped he'd do well. Unfortunately, as a big lightweight, he seemed to be fed a string if past it featherweights. Dropped by Limond & Gomez, refused to meet the likes of Thaxton, Murray & Mitchell, KO in 1st round by Prescott.

Moved to Golden Boy, moved up rather than face the big names at LW, fair play he beat Kotlnik, but the Barrera fight seemed a bit of a gift - strange how Barrera's cut was too bad to continue when the fight went past the point of a No Contest for an accidental cut.

Can't say I'm a fan, though maybe I'll warm to him from what I've read of last night's fight ( not that he'll be worried about that).
