Hello

was thinking about cycling from Amsterdam to Hamburg this summer, and then flying back from Hamburg to the UK. Unfortunately only have 3 days to do it (leave Amsterdam Sun morning, arrive in Hamburg Tuesday evening) - do you think this would be feasible? Was thinking about going along the North Sea cycle route for some of the way. Would it be a nice route?

Of course all advice is much appreciated

Hello Rob,
I rode round the Netherlands a few years ago, and IMO, 3 days to Hamburg via the North sea route is do-able, but you will have very long days in the saddle to do it.

Of course, if you could add a couple of days it would lower the pressure on you to grind the miles. Regardless, have fun whatever you decide to do.

The north sea route can be a bit wet &windy this time of year, but could be nice in the summer. although i would stay inland along the canals, much prettier and plenty of places to stop.
