YepYou changed your vote then!
Right....I'm changing my vote back again....hang on....Offer him one for £7 or two for £10. You don't really want the other, but if he doesn't want it either it's only cost you £3
I'm a bit shocked (but secretly pleased) at your callous, cold hearted and yet refreshingly pragmatic approachOffer him one for £7 or two for £10. You don't really want the other, but if he doesn't want it either it's only cost you £3
If you read from the beginning of the thread your approach is exactly the one I wanted to follow but got slaughtered for it. I agree with you entirely! Why's it callous? You're offering him the deal you got? Unless I've missed something?
You are King Solomon and ICMFP.Offer him one for £7 or two for £10. You don't really want the other, but if he doesn't want it either it's only cost you £3
I already do more than most, there has to be some limits. If a mate, I would have asked first - what, could you not have send him at text from the shop, or phoned?
Failing that, I would give them the choice, 2 for a tenner or one for a fiver.
If it's you father in law, I would give him the 2 bags for nothing. Really, what's a tenner for a favor to close family? He can buy you a drink or something when the occasion arises.
