It all sounds good, until you get to this one small paragraph:

So we are all going to have a lot of spare time, but what are we going to do to earn money in order to enjoy that time?

Some of those predictions seem eerily familiar. I remember 40 Years ago on Tomorrow's World when they said robots would be doing a lot of jobs and that as a result people would have far more time in their hands. Back then they didn't say how people were going to live or where they would get the money from to do nothing either.
I can see a lot of those things happening. They can be seen already IE. 3d printers, people living longer, self driving cars, solar power etc but I am highly sceptical about the "people won't have to or have a job to do".

It's a bit more complicated than that...
It's a bunch of predictions with some truth in them, but presented as if they're all going to happen now. In fact some of them never will, a few will happen when predicted, some will be overtaken by events and most will dribble out eventually and in a much more haphazard way than presented.

I remember years ago watching a telly programme that featured a maggot farm, where they turn rotten carcasses into fish bait, and thinking it must be a massive business opportunity - turning waste into protein. There's a maggot farm on the hillside well above Rawtenstall in Lancashire; I once stopped and looked in a crack in the door and thought my eyes had gone funny because all I could see was a sort of seething movement. Then I realised I was looking at huge concrete pens on the floor, filled with dead fish and seething with millions of maggots. The smell was terrible. There used to be another one on the road between Bacup and Todmorden, which you could smell a couple of miles downwind.

I don't agree with a lot of that. Especially with cars and transport. There are far too many things you can't predict, like if people can order a self drive car and work whilst commuting then there'll be far more demand for it and the roads will be more clogged. Self drive cars don't reduce congestion, and there are always the high percentage of people who will still run ICE cars.
Secondly, all new "great" ideas that could transform the way we live will be bought up and wiped out by large companies or the government. Either that or the Gov will price/tax these ideas up so high that only the richest 10% afford them.

I agree with the motor industry predictions. I've mentioned it on here before but the main manufacturers, such as ford, BMW and VAG will all disappear as production sales will become a thing of the past. Farenheight, tesla, apple , google will all become the largest manufacturers of vehicles.
BMW, Peugeot, ford are already gearing up for this by aquiring car rental and logistics firms to support shared car ownership...but will ultimately lose as their business model is not able to support high volume low value sales...their infrastructure and overhead is what will eventually drag them under, allowing smaller, less infrastructure heavy firms to rock up. Note all of teslas showrooms are shop fronts that can be let to costa and the like once they are not needed...no huge dealerships with massive forecourts to get rid of...smart.
