A futuristic walkway could open up investment opportunities and bring another attraction to the Falkirk area.

The giant circular bridge – planned to go over the current Westfield roundabout – would be the first of its kind in the UK.
The ambitious plans for the bridge suspended in the sky are part of a bid to regenerate the Falkirk Gateway project.
It had stalled as the recession hit, but with the popularity of the Helix and the £80 million new Falkirk campus of Forth Valley College underway, the project appears to be back on track.
The aerial walkway and cycle path, similar to the Hovenring in The Netherlands, would provide access to both these sites, along with Falkirk Stadium.

I use the Hovenring to commute to work when I am in the Netherlands - I would not call it a thing of beauty, but it works pretty well.

Having recently used these in Holland they are great especially the ones that go underground like the subway.

To be fair Falkirk seem to be really progressive compared to other areas (Falkirk Wheel, Kelpies) so it wouldn't surprise me if this comes off.
