An Ode to Spring
In search of the hole, round and deep,
Where the rotary clothes drier should keep,
But alas, it hides, in the growing grass,
Lost in the weeds, what a pain in the arse.
Around and around, I search in vain,
For the elusive spot, it’s a bloody pain.
Through the garden, I wander and roam,
Hoping to find the hole alone.
Oh, little hole, where do you hide?
In shadows deep, or by the garden's side?
I'll keep on looking, with hope in my soul,
Until I find the missing hole.
