Another 1st for me and I want to keep it simple*.
Tomato based tagliatelle......
I am using canned tomatoes and adding ham, mushrooms, onion?? and, of course, GARLIC ^_^.
The plan is.......
Lightly fry the mushrooms, onion and garlic.
Add the ham and the sauce.....maybe black pepper.
Cook the pasta and chuck the sauce on.
Add some garlic bread and some wine**
What could go wrong??
* simple as I will be watching golf and football.
** red wine. After covid ruined my taste buds I couldn't face red. Tried a glass yesterday and it was enjoyable.

Add some tomato puree and some mixed Italian herbs as well.

Bring the pasta to the sauce rather than the other way round

I am having a veggie pasta sauce I made yesterday with spaghetti this evening. Garlic, onion, courgette, pepper and mushrooms with a chopped chilli for a kick.
