So today I got an email from the "TV licencing authority". Apparently I have overpaid and am due a refund of over £200.
All I have to do is click on a link.....then I assume I simply give my bank details.
To me it seems an obvious scam.
I wonder what % they catch.

I got an email the other day headed "Evans Cycles Ad Hoc Refund.

Before I opened it I contacted Evans chat line and asked them to check it. I had forgotten I had sent a brake rotor back a couple of weeks ago and they were actually refunding me.

You have to be careful though.

I got a phone call yesterday from a lady claiming to be Pauline from my bank. Yeah right I thought!
She then told me that last time I was in the branch I'd bought a ticket in the christmas raffle and I'd won first prize. I now have a nice M&S hamper.
Still think it must somehow be a scam as I never win anything.
