people are calling BS on the CGI
also they are arguing could you out run/ride a bear if it was a real life/death situation

also i will add my self constantly being out in the woods etc and out in Sweden with hundreds of deer and elk and wild boar about that generally unless you mess about with them or threaten them or their cubs they won't bat an eyelid generally

.. and he was keeping the Pooh at pretty much the same distance behind him whilst on the bike, so by the time he'd stopped and got off his bike at the fallen tree, Pooh would have been right on top of him.

Read these comments - the general feeling is that it's a fake.

Really?

Grizzly bears can bring down prey, such as bison or moose, that outweigh the bear by several hundred pounds and can steal kills from entire packs of wolves. Their top speed running on all fours has been reported to be around 40 mph;[37][38] comparably, Usain Bolt ran at a record-breaking speed of 27 mph (43 km/h) at the 2008 Summer Olympics.[39] Most people are incapable of reaching speeds even remotely close to this number; thus, it is impossible for a human to outrun a bear.

i wasn't saying that i was on either side although i must admit that even before you posted that i wasn't entirely convinced with what they were saying considering i knew what a bear can indeed take down when it wants to

The above all confirms it for me. I was fairly confident purely by the camera angles - you don't get a full 180 rear view on a shoulder check. I thought it was well enough done to deserve a post here with my skepticism though!

The Costa Clyde rain magnet.
It's at times like those that you wish you had gone cycling with a mate. A slower mate! Looks fake though.

It's a grizzly and I think it's genuine.

The Latin name of the grizzly bear is Ursus Arctus Horribilis.
