Have fun and beware when arriving in Tangiers. Many unscrupulous types down there. Very keen to help, just have your wits about you.

Now IF you were going via Tangiers to Faro that would help. But you are not.!!! Sure i read a thread some place about a Morroco trip!!!

Well I am back and had a lovely time. The weather was simply stunning around 25-28 in the day even high up, and at night never below about 15. On two mornings when camping I had a second layer on for about 15 mins when I got up. I did not use 70% of the clothes I took, and I took very few.

www,crazyguyonabike.com/malagatofaro for the full monty - hills all very do-able in Spain. I used the granny ring at the front a couple of times for a few hundred metres, but in Portugal I took a really tough route with climbs of 15-19% and found one afternoon very tough indeed.

All in all, fab and glad I went at such short notice!
