Just got an android tablet for my day today and don't like the size of the app icons , they are too big. Can I change the size of them?

cheers, no way to change just the size, even just a small, normal, large options in android it self?

I don't remember seeing a setting for it on my Galaxy Tab.

I'm sure there will be launcher apps for tabs, as there is for phones. A good android launcher will allow you to doctor all sorts of things including app shortcut size, position etc.
I use Next Launcher on my phone which has endless appearance options but it's not free (because I'd never steal apps of Aptoid, or anything like that) There are loads of free launchers, just search "launcher" in play store, then install a few and have a play about until you find one that suits.
