Here for rides.
rarely see any cyclists on my commute at this time of year, though the racing snake roadies and triathlon wannabes will be out in force once the clocks go back. The ones that annoy me are the ones fitter and faster than me. The obviously older, fitter and faster than me ones, well they are just taking the mickey.

Those who want a commuter race on Friday when I've been cycling all week and it's their first and only weekly commute.

They're usually riding a road bike with no luggage and I'm on my commuterised mtb with 2 panniers.

No I don't race 'em.

Can't find it in me to get annoyed at having to overtake the same cyclist repeatedly if they're jumping lights and I'm not: the road is plenty wide enough for both of us.

Cyclists only get on my nerves when their stupidity directly affects me, I know selfish ain't I!!! For instance when you are waiting at lights and a cyclist breezes past you way too close and fast or when a cyclist pulls out in front of you without looking (then tends to get upset when you shout at them for being an idiot). Like others have said though it's mainly cars that worry me not other cyclists...

10. Those that you overtake who then RLJ get ahead of you so that you have to overtake again.

+1 kind of. I commute across Blackheath and into central London. If I hadn't calmed down about this issue I think I'd have gone mad. I'd say 90% of cyclists that I see on the Old Kent Road RLJ.

Usually I cringe rather than get annoyed.

The irksome thing sometimes, being of a "larger frame" (and I don't mean the diamond sort), is the "all the gear" slim-jim who makes assumptions of my normal commuting speed and does the "must get past fat bloke" thing and then ends up holding me up, but there is a far better way of regaining a feeling of satisfaction

Especially when they realise "that was the fat bloke"

Annoying in a light hearted way (i laugh to myself when i see it)...cyclists with nearly flat tyres...i always say at work (to anyone that'll listen) when i see a half flat tyre..'get some air in them tyres'
Same with dry chains...'get some oil on that chain'

There's a guy on my commute, see him regularly but never spoke...his helmet is always tilted up off his forhead. Looks ridiculous.

The only time i ever thought 'you freekin idiot' was a few years ago. I rode up a hill at fair pace, overtaking a couple on reasonable quality, maybe 28mm tyred hybrids. I rode on, maintaining fair pace..and about 4 miles later i became aware someones on my wheel. Quick glance, its him. He's abandoned his partner to give chase, took 4 miles to do it, overtook me...then instantly turned round to go back and find his wife/partner.
All that so he could 'put one over me'. If i'd known, i'd have made it difficult/impossible for him. I remember thinking..'what the hell must your wife think as you dissapear off into the distance and abandon her'

I have only been commuting since Jan 2011 so I am not fully qualified to make judgements of others, but I will anyway!

I agree cyclists that pull in front of me at red lights drive me mad.

I rarely see other cyclists, unless I'm out on a Sunny Sunday morning, then there are lots of them bombing round the lanes. Other cyclists rarely annoy me, but some irritate sometimes, the usual suspects, ninjas, RLJers, pavement cyclists and those generally ignoring the rules of the road.
