I haven't seen the MSK clinic yet, but the neurologist said it would cause a lot less issues for me..... especially the nerves in my lower limbs. But I see the MSK clinic on wednesday and all being well will be attending the showroom on Friday. I just looked at all the bikes I posted and they only have green available in my size for all of the selected bikes..... dammit. Green it is. So I may as well buy the first one

I don't think PX allow much (if any) customisation unlike Ribble and Dolan., their bikes are essentially off the peg based on what they can spec for the price.
I guess you could always ask them, indeed the OP is planning on going to the showroom so that should be easy

I customised a few things (chainset, seat post and tyres) but perhaps they don't offer as much as others you mention.

The older I get, the faster I used to be ...
That most of their customers have no taste and sense of aesthetic?
Ah - so that's where I'm went wrong. I shouldn't have gone to art school, gained a degree in Art and Design, taught sculpture and ceramics, been head of a School of Art for a time, and made and exhibited work. However I never became a household name - it must have been the lack of taste and aesthetic sense that held me back.

I'd go for the first one for two reasons a) SRAM groupset b) colour (although not far behind)

SRAM Rival is equivalent to Ultegra essentially, just depends on whether you get on with double tap. I don't get on with Shimano hoods
Normally agree with the majority of your posts @vickster, on this occasion & (only being picky) & IMO only Rival is equivalent to 105 & Force is equivalent to Ultegra.

I run both 105 & Force on my bikes (both 10 speed), I am open to suggestions otherwise though.

Out of interest, have you taken a look at the Ribble website ?

Prices are comparable & some of the frames are technically more up to date (or so it appears).

The only difference being that there have been a few negative posts about customer services at Ribble & of course the locations are quite a distance apart.

It will if you cycle up lots of hills  Much more enjoyable than running which is dullsville, you can go so much further and you live in a pretty part of the world
