Hi Everyone.

I used to cycle a lot when I was in my teens, but now 24 and in full time job, and looking to get back into it mainly for the purposes of my 5 mile commute but also for leisure. I've managed to work out a route which avoids major roads, and I'm at the research stage to try and find out which bike to buy for a budget of about £300 - £350. I figure I can always upgrade parts if I need to.

Thanks!
Tom

+1, about the only way i can fit cycling in on a regular basis !!
What sort of bike would you like , drop bar "road bike", a flat bar road bike etc etc ?

I can recommend the carrera bikes as good value for money , the virtuosso being my favourite , or you can look at decathlon as their bikes are excellent as well.

Hi

I was in Halfwits (Halfords) earlier today...

This bike looks OK for the money...

But this is better...

and this is better still (but well out of your budget!)

You need to go and have a look in your local branch and see what size fits really...
