Another cyclist down in Sheffield.

Road traffic collision on St Mary's Gate, junc with South Lane,Sheffield. St Mary's Gate closed from Moore Street to Bramall Lane roundabout

I've read on a Sheffield Facebook group that it's a cyclist who has been run over. Sounds pretty bad with numerous emergency vehicles in attendance.

Oh blimey...

That's my normal route home at that time...oblivious to this happening as I decided to take the "via pub" route home. Doesn't surprise me that there was an incident there though, people seem confused by the new(ish) road layout and islands

South Yorkshire police now reporting that it was a pedestrian that was the victim, not a cyclist.
