Dalwhinnie Winter Gold 43%.
On offer @ £25.00 so I took a punt and it really is very nice.
Not peaty which is a plus for me.
Lots of different flavours come through.
Easy to enjoy.

Same £25 deal at Waitrose recently.

Dalwhinnie is the permanently occupied settlement in the UK with the lowest year round average temperature - or so they say on their tour.

Winter Gold is, as the name suggests, made in the cold of Winter, the low temperature through the whole process gives it a smoother character.

When Distillery workers were allowed an end of shift dram, Winter Gold was their whisky of choice.
