I'm due another ride2work scheme bike. Our scheme is run via Evans which restricts choice a bit, but I'm tempted by the Croix de Fer 20. I wish I could afford the Ti version, but apparently I can't. Does anyone have any experience with the 2016 CdF yet? Is there something else at Evans I should consider? I will obviously test ride before I buy anything.
I expect it will mostly be used for 100 miles/week London commuting with occasional European touring. So far I've toured on my old Specialized Secteur triple with 28mm tyres, a rear rack (and a big dent in the down tube), or an old 1980s Raleigh MTB with semi slicks. I generally commute on a CAAD8.
