Another Lockdown project

I have acquired a Gios compact plus frame in slightly rough, but, therefore, slightly cheaper, condition.

The frame is relatively rare as it is made out of Vitus Gti tubing and this is going to inspire the build. A prize* to the person who can guess what i’m planning. By way of a clue there is an Irish connection.

...and we have a winner Somehow I just knew who it was going to be.

It will not be a 100% replica but "inspired by" as my New Success groupset is 3rd generation with the ergo shifters and I am not trading down.

Finally got the bike ready, just in time for car free day, so the t3st ride was a wuick sprint round the city on empty roads.. took a while to find all the components I wanted but I am happy with the results.

Lucky to have found the stem, vert lucky to have found the bars,

And all tastefully co-ordinated with this classic design
