My commute home today will see me tick over 1500 miles since I started commuting to work in March :biggrin:. Not bad to say I only bought a cheap Decathlon Rockrider because I didn't know how long I would stick at it! Well I think I've got this bike bug that everyone on here keeps talking about, which surely means spending more money:wacko:

Will be changing to a road bike soon, well, as soon as work start the cycle to work scheme.

Thank you. Obviously not in the league of a lot of others but I'm getting there slowly. At what point does it take over all your spare time?????

Excellent stuff mate.
Also broke the 2500 mile barrier since I started my full commute to work and back rather then station and back.

Very soon, possibly at the on-set of a second bike......

It takes over when you work out your miles on the year and then want to beat it next. Or when you start logging your miles here http://cyclogs.org/home.aspx, join team cycle chat and go out for lunch time rides to stay ahead of the rest

Nice one 'Blade. Get a second bike. Rode my Allez in to work and trimmed about 5 minutes off my usual commute time.

Hey, good going.

You'll know when you're into biking when you pass a Ferrari driven by two strikingly blonde Swedish nannies with a bike on the back and look more closely at the bike than the occupants or the car.......

 Look I had to bring the motorised cage in today and have to make up for it some way so you have got a head start this month. It still amazes me some of the distance some of those others do, I mean more than 1000 miles a month on a regular basis
