Hi, folks.
It's good to see this forum and the huge experience it represents.
I've been helping with the Drumlanrig TEAR Fund Challenge as timekeeper for the past 3 years and have now decided it's time to do it myself. I did loads of cycling at uni' and for a couple of years after but then family, work etc etc and I've done very little for 30 yrs. I've restarted 4 weeks ago with my wife's old Dawes on-road/off-road and have been really pleased at how things are going. I'm now commuting twice per week (30ml round trip) and my best single run is 53ml. I hope I'm on course for the Drumlanrig which is on May 1. Planning to buy a new bike. Hopefully with a couple of weeks to practice on it before the event. I'm now 57 with a neck that doesn't bend so much so it will probably be flat bars. Any one have any experiece of Raleigh SF3?
Looking forward to being part of this group.
Cheers,
Iain
