Hi all, just a quick hello from me.
I used to ride (and race) back in the 1960s but haven't been on a bike for years now. However I found this site while I was browsing, looking to see what bikes are like these days and how much they cost etc. I've been thinking for some time that I'd like to get one for some gentle exercise.
Very recently I did buy one of those folding bikes, which I've been keeping as an emergency mode of transport if my car breaks down, but I don't like the riding position so have hardly ever used it. Then a couple of weeks ago I acquired (from my brother in law) an old Townsend bike, which had been in his garage for the last 4 years. I spent a week just cleaning it - and then when I sat on it I realised its too big for me! So... I'm looking for something else now.
Reading this site has brought back some great memories, so I decided to join.
