Can't find anything noting what the sentence was in this case. I understand the maximum sentence is up to 2 years?
Presumably they didn't bother with "Dangerous Cycling" or "Cycling when under influence of drink or drugs" as neither carries a custodial sentence. Probably also the case with breaching S7 of the "The Pedal Cycles (Construction and Use) Regulations (1983)"?
No doubt, if the perpertrator was driving, the incident wouldn't be worthy of a single column inch.
