You have my deepest sympathies. On the upside - at least you get to save a fair bit of cash by never having to replace the indicator light bulbs

actually I have to replace bulbs on my Volvo 2 or 3 times a year; & the previous one had the same irritating habit.
I am informed that it is " an known flaw in the wiring loom on Volvos"

so I always indicate but my car sometimes doesn't:cursing:

That cycle lane is ideal if you want to be hit by a door :B)

I must admit to a smug moment in Chester yesterday, traffic choked up with the extra horse racing traffic and we sailed through it.

Liked the vid, nice when you can sail through it all like that. Thats why some of us cycle to work. By the way what camera was you using?

Cheers. I have no problem with the passengers alighting there, and I'm quite happy to stop and let them off.

I did think it was interesting that not one of them checked for bikes though.

I do that also, when crossing the road, getting out of cab or bus/car..

Yes, quite. I really must write to the council about it.

Only if it's reported and gets dealt with correctly

Some councils will just remove the cycle path completely with so many complaints. Id only complain / ask for changes asking the right MP / organizion. Your local MP / council could be anti cycling.

Having a cycle path removed like the one in the video would put cyclist in more danger. Best having a poor cycle path that don't work correctly than to have no cycle path at all

Completely disagree.

That bit of paint on the road will be regarded by some motorists as the only part of the road for a cyclist to ride legitimately, and they will aggressively try to force cyclists to use it, even though it isn't safe.

Cycle lanes like that are made purely as box-ticking exercises (so the council can say, "Look, we've made X miles of cycle lanes"). They benefit no one, least of all cyclists.
