Another saturday gone and anothe load of undone jobs

well there goes another saturday and another load of jobs we wanted to do have not been done , have managed to do the following

some banking
some shopping
a half hour walk with some bird watching
a visit to mum & dads
checking out how good the compost is in our compost bin and spread some round garden
list 2 old tv's and an old pc monitor on local reccycle site
take some photos of bike trying to sell
tidy up in loft
help with tea and wash up

didnt do

test ride bike for 2 - 3 miles
clean bike some more
etc etc

what have you not done

Working this morning, since coming home i have managed to..
Fix a puncture on my sons bike.
Trued a slight wobble on his rear wheel
Had a nap.
Watched a bit of TV.
Created a new email account after my old one started spamming. Old account closed.


What i didnt do...
Continued with the rebuild of a bike for the wife...its been three months now on and off )
Check to see whats on at the cinema tonight...after i suggested we go see a film. I guess we're not going out now.

Didn't ride the bike !

Wife couldn't do the gym as they had power failure.

Ended up at Trafford Centre in Build a Bear. Kids had birthday money to burn - ended up spending £75 on two soft dogs, a 'wheeled' hutch and pink hutch for them - fortunately £40 of that was covered by birthday money.

Haven't washed cars.

Did make a nice evening meal (god I stink of garlic now).

Did get Office 2010 on an old PC.

I've been a good boy ... I got in from work around 5 this morning, then went to bed. Got p about 12.30, fixed the power steering on my girlfriend's new car ("the steering's really stiff" "well, that's because it's not power assisted ... you'll get used to it"), then measured up the kitchen and went off to Hereford to buy some tiles. We're now £400 poorer but I've got a big stack of tiles to stick to the wall. Just about to have a shower, then it's time for dinner and a bottle glass of wine.

I went and fetched the trike from the lockup for a ride tomorrow, and in the process swapped the old B and M mirror on the left hand side for a new Mirrycle one - sturdier and a bigger lens.

Then went and did some grocery shopping, and after lunch (sushi and a creme egg), did some laundry, and sorted my yarn stash into one big box, as opposed to several bags.

I'd hoped to do rather more tidying, but hey ho.

Spent most of Saturday morning watching the grandkids playing football going from on match to another. Grandpa's duty finished at approx; 2pm. Went home bloody frozen. Ah the joy of grandkids.
