Another saturday gone and anothe load of undone jobs

What have you not done?

We set off earlier today for a ride to Kennington from Deptford - well, the next-door neighbour was heading for Oxford Street but we thought we'd ride together - (4 miles, 6 miles respectively maybe). 50 miles later, I still haven't been to Kennington - though I did come within 100 yards of it. And I still haven't heard him get home. I think he may have decided to go for the ton. Unfinished business, eh?

Took my bike down to the LBS (Gerry Shields) cassette nis turning wheel isn't , did the weekly shop ,cooked tea (salmon with a lemon and parsley crust with mustard celeraic mash)

I had a day off church yesterday .Spent the morning fiddling with two bikes .Very enjoyable .Nice to do something different.

I managed not to do any cycling
Saturday was taken up with finding kitchen units which match our existing kitchen, and then stripping wallpaper from the kitchen wall that had had the boiler removed, removing shelves, plug sockets, skirting etc. Then I went to my friend's in sheffield for dinner, taking the mtbs for some riding in the peaks the next day.
And what did we do? We sat up til 4am drinking wine and talking and I was too wrecked to ride. FFS.
