On the flip side, cat litter tray leavings can be beneficial to the gardener as well. It's a brilliant bird repellent. Stops the blighters from helping themselves to my currants without my having to cage the bushes

The press keep going on about cleaning up after dogs, nothing ever gets said about cat owners being responsible, and I find cat sh*t far more nasty than dog sh*t, and I really do object to having to clean it up from my garden when I don`t even own a cat.......VERMIN:evil::banghead:

Not entirely sure - thought that was the Animal Welfare Act 2005...
It could be, not sure, we had an 'issue' with the guy who lived next door when he attached 'gripper strip' to the top of the fence (spiky side up) Maz told him if our cats were injured on it the RSPCA would be called and he'd be footing the Vet bills......................It was gone later that day.

Without ploughing through the particulars, it's probably the most likely option.

That could have been nasty - glad it was sorted quickly. Fortunately I live out in the boonies and my nearest neighbour is 100m further down the road. And also happens to be a vet.

I actually live between two local feral colonies and often see the cats hunting in the garden at night. During the day, they don't dare try as the girls will see off any intruders. A fair few of the ferals have been sent to the vets and have returned home minus a few parts and pieces.

I bet you're a joy to live next to.
