And we don't all want dressing if there's salad.

And you can NEVER have too much bread and butter, and it should be free.

I like the traditional pub menu, so long as it's done well. The pubs I go back to are the ones where home-made means just that and not bought in from elsewhere and microwaved on the premises.

Also, speaking as a cyclist, I love it when pubs have decent light lunch menus with stuff like sandwiches etc, for those of us who can't do the hills after a massive plate of whatever and chips, especially if there aren't any cafes nearby.
