[QUOTE 2989996, member: 9609"]Our mutt seems to be going more and more bonkers, and if we can't shut this noise up I guess me and the wife will also go insane. he has always made this noise in the car a little bit, (the last mile to his favourite place) But now it has become permanent, the whole F'n journey, 1 mile or 50 mile it never stops, starts before we get out of the driveway. And its loud, can't here the radio can't have any conversation.

Any suggestions, nice ones please, he is a fantastic wee dog, and an old boy at 12½

We had the exact same problem with our daft idiot.

He sits in the front passenger footwell now, or the front passenger seat if it's vacant! Problem solved.

Cindy loves to sit in the passenger seat and look out, or even better, sit on your lap to she has an elevated view.

The problem is that when a dog gets over a certain size, it can be dangerous, so although bringing him closer will be an answer, it might not be very practical!

Simply remove the cage but get him to stay in the boot and see what happens.
