any good bike shops in sussex? west ...

george here, i must confess i don't like the shops where i live in crawley, any good shops for bits and pieces in sussex?
i saw a front shock absorber unit for a bike at £375 yesterday in crawley - just mad prices!
i prefer shops where friendly staff talk to ya rather than trying to treat you like a cash cow and give you the customer service guff!!

Bit of a trek from Crawley but Southwater Cycles is pretty good IMO.

Just catch the train from Crawley to Christ hospitial station and ride the short distance along the Downs link to Southwater, brings you out oppisite to Lintot square where Southwater cycles are.

I find nothing wrong with either Evans shop in Crawley centre, or there shop at the warehouse in the industral estate, it you speak to the right guy they know what they are talking about, more than I can say about Halfords at County Oak.
